Brazil - Paraguay
Argentina - Venezuela
Colombia - Chile
Uruguay - Peru
Is the quarter final line up. Paraguay got through on 2 points which is a bit of a farce. Colombia - Chile the tie of the round with Colombia very unlucky to get such a tough draw considering they won all their games. You would think the other 3 should be fairly straight forward for the favourites
Brazil v Argentina semi assuming both win quarters?
Edit: checked this. They could indeed meet in the semis
Yes. Also interesting to note that there is no extra time in the quarters, straight to penalties so the chances of upsets could be high. Paraguay knocked Brazil out on penalties 4 years ago
Brazil beat Paraguay on pelanties last night. Argentina Venezuela at 8 tonight
Does it go straight to penalties after 90?
But only for the Quarter finals I believe. Extra time in semis and final
Is Lauturo the greatest player in the world. He is carrying this Argentina team right now.

Stylish goalkeeping from Armani.
That looked more of a pelanty than some of the ones awarded in the CL this season.
Thought it was definitely going to be awarded considering some of the ones we’ve seen given
I think it would have been harsh as it wasn’t hand to ball but considering what we’ve seen of late, they were lucky to escape that one.
Great work from Lautaro, Messi fucks it up.
Lautaro has been brilliant, Messi has been shocking

Venezuela begging to settle into the game, they were very poor in the first 10.
Paul Dempsey is a great commentator, particularly by himself. Very Partridgesque.

How did Martinez do at Inter last season @Cicero_Dandi ? He’s had an outstanding half here
Didn’t get much game time early on in the season with one striker being preferred and Icardi leading the line. Did get his chance later on with the Icardi saga but he wasn’t great though neither were Inter.
The poor pigeons are drunk here, De Paul concussed one earlier and another one took a size 5 on the noggin there.
