Paul Kerrigan, Noel O’Leary and Donnacha O’Connor dropped. Right decisions imo.
The Cork Senior Football team to play Cavan on Saturday at 3pm in Páirc Uí Chaoimh will line out as follows:
Alan Quirke
Ray Carey
Graham Canty
Jamie O’Sullivan
John Miskella
Michael Shields
Paudie Kissane
Alan O’Connor
Aidan Walsh
Fintan Goold
Pearse O’Neill
Patrick Kelly
Daniel Goulding
Ciaran Sheehan
Colm O’Neill
I did, he is an idiot for defending someone who elbowed him in the face, and then did the exact same thing to a teammate. Even O’Se knows he deserves the ban, he isn’t even bothering to fight it. No more to say about it then that unless I missed something.
Thats close enough to our best team except for Kerrigan in for Gould, although Gould is showing some form again this year. Pierce at 11 is the best place for him, and DO’C being injured could be a god send.
Lethal full forward line, i’d expect Sheehan to roam though, can’t imagine O’ Neill playing as a left corner player.
I’d possibly have Noelie playing and move Miskella to the corner were we playing better opposition, instead of Jamie Sullivan. Nick Murphy to come on as well.
Gould deserves a start - thought he did well in the league, although he was a little absent against Mayo. Noel’s form has been off, if Miskella is fit then he deserves to start. Wouldn’t mind seeing Nic starting somwhere, even in full forward, just to see what happens.
Best ignore them, I’d usually be confused by so many non-Cork and non-Cavan people posting in a thread about a Cork/Cavan match thread but the amount of whiny little bitchs on TFK is incredible.
Heading to the match? Will probably wander up, clashes with Dublin/Clare though.
nah - 2 weeks in a row in the bigotdome is my fill for the time been- the footballers dont deserve any support this year- i could imagine it been really flat atmosphere wise
the highlight of any de duds game is bohemian rhapsody in coles after the game
