Cork GAA 2016

Yeah I knew it was intermediateā€¦ Iā€™ll deffo be tipping along to Douglas Saturday.

I wouldnā€™t bother with any Intermediate A matches lad, bar the odd local derby or a final. Its basically glorified Junior A.

Douglas/Imokilly should be interesting, I believe Moylan is travelling, not sure if Harnedy has also gone to the US. Both teams may be without their stars.

Odds for Grenagh and Meelin this weekend? Meelin are short Eamonn Brosnan afaik.

Ladybird it for me. Weā€™re all in on Grenagh?

Grenagh are 4-1 and Meelin are apparently short their star forward. Worth a small punt.

No. Grenagh are poor.
Brosnan is a loss but Meelin are competing well at Div.1, Grenagh struggle in Div.3

They really are the biggest shower of idiots.

The Draw for the County Intermediate Hurling Championship was made in conformity with the Regulations that Round 2A winners cannot meet in Round 4. The first two pairings drawn were as follows.

  1. Winners D (Round 2A loser Ath Fhada /Baile na Martra) v Dubhghlas v An tAth. UĆ NĆ©ill.

  1. Round 2A winner Ath Fhada /Baile na Martra v Round 3 Winner F (Cumann Barra Naofa v Baile GarbhƔin).

There was subsequent confusion in reporting these pairings.

When Round 2 and Round 3 games played since are taken into account the Draw this now reads;

  1. Baile na Martra v An tAth. UĆ NĆ©ill

  1. Ath Fhada v Cumann Barra Naofa/Baile GarbhƔin

The Fixture Programme is now amended to read

August 21st

@ Pairc UĆ Rinn, IHC R4, Aghada v St Finbarrs/Ballygarvan, Alt 19th

@ Cloyne, IHC R4, Fr Oā€™Neills v Castlemartyr Alt 20th

Both games have an alternate date of August 20th in the event of Imokilly involvement on August 21st. The times will be decided later.

Cork IHC

Carrigaline 1 - 4 vs 2 - 21 Eire Og

Grenagh 0 - 22 vs 4 - 13 Meelin

PIHC

Mallow 6 - 18 vs 2 - 15 Watergrasshill

Mallow up to senior this year? Would be about time.

I see Fermoy gave your lot a clipping @caoimhaoin

@mickee321 's lot after finding themselves in the Junior A semis. Playing Sars, who arenā€™t as strong as usual, but I assume Catherines will win regardless of who they play in the Imokilly final, good chance theyā€™ll win the county as well.

Ah ya not unexpected. When you play 2 games and have 10 training sessions in 3 months and do no S&C whatsoever how could you expect to play a commited team like Fermoy. Men against boys.

Fermoy are no world beaters, but apply themselves well, are very fit and physically mature. They lack class up front though.

Ballinora are a sinking ship. They have no idea whats wrong and no idea how to fix things. A mirror inage of Cork GAA, shit culture. They were blessed Grenagh had half a Junior B team out in 1st round which gives them grace of relegation of 2 years
