Mullins off to the Glen.

Some Clare Minor 4 years back from Clarecastle off to Midleton - who is this Klare lads.

That would have been the group hammered by cork by 30 points. A fairly forgettable group

Seems to be a Doherty on the bench from Clarecastle in 2020, might be him.

Some stroke

A chap of that vintage was probably TY or 5th year while on the minors so would only be in second or third year of university or an apprenticeship. So surprised to see him transfer.

Wonder it is a relatively short term thing on an internship or co-op. I’d assume he is an older brother of Harry Doherty who is a serious prospect and one of the main men on the Flannans team this year.

What’s the story with that? There is a parish rule in Cork, isn’t there?

Father played there underage I think.

Rob Downey out, Meade in.

Good night Irene

Will the Mullins move happen? His father was an excellent Na Pairsaigh player. It would be a strange move.

Does that rule get used much?

Fairly big blow for Whitechurch like.

Mickey Mullins was one of the best Cork underage hurlers of my lifetime
Never really kicked on at senior level

Next man up

Na Pairsaigh and Glen were huge rivals in Mullins time on and off the field. Hard to fathom how his son could play for the Glen.

Is there an U20 challange match in in PUC tomorrow before the Limerick game? Be good to get the crowd in early

Fat chance. The local pubs will be mobbed with the soupies who can’t watch a game without being locked.

When do we get a list of transfers?

Yeah vs Offaly.

It would be but from what i heard both Mullins are liabilities. In the city final Jr was sent off, very short fuse and Mullins senior was sent off from the sideline for an altercation with the lines man. A hefty ban. Both missed the county QF.
