Cork GAA Thread 2019

Yes virtually no relegation in years. It will be easy to get used to its straightforward from now with underperformers relegated. Just one season of 'settlingā€™to get teams into right grades

Will be competitive in senior b but if cvile are good enough they will get to senior a

Senior b should be called intermediate. What a load of crap.

What in the sweet fuck does it matter what it is called? And you want three inter grades?

No one intermediate grade.

The rest are junior a - junior z or whatever is required.

This ā€œsenior bā€, ā€œpremier intermediateā€ shite is a load of me bollix, just so lads can say they hurl intermediate when they are really only a junior team.

Yerra Iā€™d say there wonā€™t be any backlash if you regrade 80% of the clubs in Cork down to Junior A-F. Not a bother.

There are 259 clubs in Cork. Thatā€™s over 12% of the clubs in the country. If there were 8 clubs in each grade theyā€™d run out of letters in the alphabet.

Junior Z-B

Sounds like a grade where a chap could score all his teams points in a county final

Both teams in the parish lose :sob:

What parish is that?

 ffs

That Ring fella is some spoofer, heā€™s blaming the clubs for their poor start now.

Can you link those quotes please?

Does he have a point and still be a spoofer?
Club games in Tipp were off (due to the Seniors) meaning Cahill had his squad to himself for the last number of months (without the 3 on the senior panel)
The club championships in Cork were back in full swing and the Cork lads were with their clubs for most of the last month.

If they were leggy they would have tired as the game wore on ?

How many of them actually played club matches?

Playing one club match does not excuse conceding 4 goals in 7 minutes or whatever the fuck it was.

A cork man was telling me after that the Tipp warm up was at another level to cork. I know this is often bandied about as a reason for a defeat ( usually shite) but did anyone see the warm ups ?
