No chance without the two Lawtons. Apparently we still managed to hit a world of wides and missed a goal chance at the end.
2 lads played a club fixture a week before the final. 5 or 6 more played a club game 2 weeks before final. Rest of the squad has no matches. How could they be leggy? Good few of the tipp panel on the lash on the Sunday and Monday before final, they were all fine though.
Usually a team thatās so slow off the mark is under performing due to an inadequate warm up.
The greatest hurling team of all time had a warm up, the majority of it consisting of two fellas just pucking it back and forth before a match.
It didnāt do them any harm.

itās not a proper warmup unless a couple of players are injured during it and are out for at least 3 weeks

Ballyhea beat kanturk in what is a massive shock to me. So ballyhea, carrigtwohill, bandon 3 teams who in my opinion wouldnāt win an intermediate championship up senior premier next year. This premier senior turning into a joke and the competition hasnāt even started yet.

Ballyhea deserved winners. Two poor sides really but they kept the noses in front once they got there. Kanturk should have been 8 or 9 pts up at HT but too wasteful
Not sure what the co board could have done really to avoid Ballyhea and Carrig being snr A next year. They have both qualified for quarters in merit, albeit with the luck of a handy draw
