Shite start.
Cussen playing well, Sean Og dreadful.
Horgan just roasted Ollie Canning there.
decent opening 10 minutes to the game
Some difference in pace from the first game.
Fantastic double save by Callanan in the Galway goal. Cork will be paying Sean og to quit if this keeps up. Farragher playing well for Galway.
Naughton goal.
Canning goal.
No show like a Joe show.
Some last 5 mins.
I knew I should have bet on there being many many goals.
Ah well, come on Galway and get over the line for me now.
B)
I’ve done worse.
We have absolutely no chance of winning this. Midfield is getting destroyed. Kenny has been very disapointing, Sean Og should have taken off at half-time.
Absolutely fucking dreadful.
The last Galway point summed this up. Cork have had a good league but some home truths are being exposed at the moment. They’re four or five players short.
Curran and Sean Og should both be of taken off. I don’t care about what we have on the bench, they are fucking useless.
Aisake has the stickwork of a Junior B player.
Christ Cork were poor.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tipp put them to the sword.
New year, same old fucking problems. If anything we’ve gotten fucking worse. Midfield destroyed. Center back line cleaned out. Basic skills far inferior, still shit in the air, picking up of the ball too slow and striking still too broad. Galway far too physical, far too intense, far too aggressive, and they worked a lot harder.
Galway are operating in a whole other stratosphere. If they had won this game by 18 points rather then 8 it would have been deserved. Men against children. Tipperary will be salivating. Kilkenny will simply dismiss us.
After that game ye would have a right to drop Dillon, Sean Og, Kenny, Mcloughlin, Fraggy and Naughton.
Jerry and Aisake should be dropped from the panel.
we are just not good enough. championship would be another level above that. too many players with too many miles on the clock. when paudie and gerry your only options to bring on you know you are in trouble.
no two ways about it, but we are in for a few tough years. the standard of club hurling is very poor. we dont have the talent/enough of the make the difference type players coming through. the couple we do have like sheehan and walsh are choosing football.
