No tickets available for any of the Cork games. They’re going to bring savage crowds. Every match will be a home game for them

Ah stop. Cahill has built a fine league side.

The only regret is that Frank didnt build Pairc Ui Caoimh twice the size than it is.

Pre-Championship Predictions 2025
Provincial Predictions:

Top 3 teams to emerge from Munster:
Limerick
Cork

Munster Champions: Cork

Leinster Champions: Kilkenny

Leinster Relegated: Antrim

All-Ireland Predictions:
5. All-Ireland Finalists: Limerick
6. All-Ireland Champions: Cork

9. Young Hurler of the Year: The Bull O’ Brien (Limerick). Honourable mention for Darragh McCarthy (Tipp)
10. Top Scorer (Overall Championship): Aaron Gillane

Wildcard Categories:
11. Flop Team of the Year (biggest underperformer): Dublin or Wexford. Whoever finishes 4th. Wexford having Kilkenny (H) on the final day should edge it for them and consign Dublin to flop. Leinster will be tight though

13. Surprise Player of the Season (breakout star): Harry Shine (Kilkenny)
14. Flop player of the season: Alan Connolly (Cork)

Galway could be 11 or 12. More likely 11.

Yeah they could easily come a cropper in Parnell Park. They’re away to Kilkenny and Offaly too so they actually have quite an unfavourable fixture list. I’d be slightly more optimistic for Galway though now that they have MO’D back in charge.

Is this still going ahead? Hardly any point.

So basically “Cork unless we cant for some reason”

Apparently a rotational venue every year for a neutral final where there is no home/away agreement between two teams stands since last year. It was Thurles last year, Cork this year and Limerick next year and will continue in that cycle…

It’s cracking me up how rattled you are by everything Cork, it’s like you’ve lost interest in everything else

No point

Cork is a class stadium but this notion that it deserves more games than Thurles or Limerick is beginning to irritate me a tad.
That home/away agreement they conjured up for this years league final and the subsequent way they managed to dominate the tickets has furthered that.

Sure they need to pay for it somehow.

I dont mind Cork getting what they are entitled to as regards Munster Finals/League Finals where there’s a Home and Away agreement in place.

They did lose out a bit while the place was being built but its when they start shoving Kilkenny v Limerick in a League Final down there like in 2023 or Wexford’s annual Quarter Final loss to Clare down there in 2018 that I draw the line.

Did not know that.

I actually love Cork as a venue. Great pitch and stadium

This cork team is class. I would definitely probably pick two of them ahead of their likely opposite numbers in the limerick team. But cork are more than the sun of their parts.

Unlikely to happen, but bringing Cork v Waterford in a Munster final to Limerick would be a bit of a joke.

Why are they dragging us to Limerick?

Don’t worry about it.
