Cork, the softest of cunts (Part 2)

Wonder will the Clare lad be brought up, supposed to be a decent player.

Any of next year’s U-20s playing well? Conor McCarthy supposed to have played well for the Glen.

B’Town relegated, and Newtown look likely to go down as well. Sars beat Charleville.

Newtown giving themselves a chance

Charleville did as well as could be expected too many bad wides

Good to see that crowd beaten. Hayes did wreck.

Some drama in Mourneabbey. What a fightback from Newtown. Replay.

That sideline by O’Brien for the goal is wreckless stuff.

Bad news for the rest of the country, Cork look to be getting their house in order finally. Fair play to BOC for grabbing the bull by the horns early… tho the club scene not even over, you’d think he’d hold stum till dry November

I never noticed that

One of the greats

Indeed, a superb hurler.

Best of luck to him in the future :+1:

A very good player no doubt and a seismic figure in this era of Cork hurling but where would he rank in terms of the all-time greats in hurling overall? Don’t think he’s making the top 20. Would he make the top 30?

This post will be overflowing with needy posts soon enough

He was sublime in his peak, 2017-2019.

A Rebel icon. Not many cult heroes like him in the GAA these days.

The Bruno Fernandes of hurling for me.

A flawed player with outstanding qualities who represented a county who are more than used to success but failed to deliver the big one.

Possibly also more suited to a different era of the game.

A sad day.

Greatest hurler I have seen since Alan McCrabbe.

Good cross sport comparison that.
