Finn OāBrien will start in the ff line alongside OāFlynn Iād say.
Iād say heād be kept on the bench, but you might be right.
The likes of OāBrien, Casey and Dooley coming off the bench would be a great advantage.
Wtf was DOL doing for the first goal.
Still celebrating the first half of the 2025 final.
Thought DOL did okish in parts at breaking ball but christ was he poor in possession. Think Joyce will end up back there. Eoin Roche doesnāt look better than what we have and I donāt really think his brother offers a huge amount besides winning some breaking ball here and there. Rob Downey hasnāt looked fit in two years. Think the half-back line should be ED-COB-MC with Joyce at 3 and Millerick as one of the corners.
Connolly seems to be a guaranteed starter and Iāve no idea why - his free taking isnāt good and his performances are inconsistent at best. Ditto for Dalton. TOC won some great ball before running into the opposition and losing it.
Thought Brian OāSullivan played well enough, so was surprised to see him subbed but I guess we needed more physicality. ROF was great when he came on and should start next day out.
Would like to see RD, Connolly and DD on the bench next day out, donāt think they have been good enough to start at all. In saying that, I imagine BOC will pick close to the same team with Hayes in for Roche and TOM in for BOS for the Tipp game.
A lot of AGās best players gone, wonāt be doing much at Harty next year.
Cork looked very strong sweeping aside that up and coming Galway side

Ah thatās a good one fair play to you lad. How do you come up with em

A very physical game last night with some fine scores taken, particularly in the first half from both sides. A lovely bit of needle in it.
Galway should be happy enough overall. Iād have Niland on the frees for them if he starts. Failing that, Rory Burke if he plays. Too many wides from play and frees for them but itās early in the year.
Cork look to have a similar issue ahead of championship but overall from last night, they will be satisfied to get a hard-fought win in an attempt to restore a some sort of a winning feeling in the group.
I still think Joyce has to be the #1 option for 3 this year. He may feature there against Tipp if fit.
Joyce to three and the Newtown younger lad OāBrien into the halfbackline for Cork. I wouldnāt mind seeing young Downey around midfield the way Galway did with Johnny Coen. Forwards can be a more aggressive and athletic unit now without the great man and Cork are never short of good inside men.
Theyāre the team to beat but itās all in their heads. Bookies will have them favs against Tipp Iād say still.
Themselves and tipp mext week should be a right rattle. O leary at 3 looks like hed be too pedestrian for championship.
Did I hear that Cork have āmotivation guruā Gerry Hussey on the ticket this year?
Correct
the missing piece of the puzzle for Cork
I know your general attitude to the team team is drop everyone. But theyāve been as good or better than everyone the last few years on their day. Until you come to the collapse. How do you single out players for that and cut them. Realistically how many players do cork have that they can parachute in if half the team is cut? How many more of them would you have dropped and who? You remind me of homer as the peewee football coach.
He does a lovely warrior dancing routine that hugely transformative I believe.
Thereās a bang of Tony Robbins off of that lad
He had a four hour session about the AI final with them last week
