Withdraw that immediately!
TUM might have an interesting analysis. The other two will say that Cork will win.

Well with Ellis out, Walsh doubtful and maybe Cahalane jaded/injured/who knows I would say smart money on Limerick. Thatâs a lot of the lads that were going well
Is Ellis definitely out?
Why the fuck would I say Cork will win? Iâm the most pessimistic fucker ever.
If we had a full squad I would expect a tight win but without Cahalane, Walsh and Ellis Iâd expect a 4-5 point Limerick win.
Long term injury I heard. Wonât be playing any time soon.
It seemed so last week anyway. Without it being knock out it would be madness to be playing with medial ligament damage. But it may have been over played, who knows. My info comes from the football side.
The internet rumours are that the older Cadogan will start at 6, so like for like, another big strong lad with mediocre hurling to hold the center. But Cadogan is also far more temperamental and his hurling is even rustier.
Cadogan would be a hell of a risk at 6 I reckon. Would McDonnell come out and hold the centre with OâSullivan slotting into the corner?
Theyâre unlikely to plump for Egan there, so are options limited in the absence of Ellis?
MAYOR of Limerick Cllr Michael Sheahan says plans to erect a big screen in the city centre for the Munster final are âthree quarters of the way thereâ.
The cityâs first citizen was locked in talks this Monday night to secure a final backer to ensure fans can gather for the Limerick vs Cork match, which throws in at 4pm Sunday.
He has so far secured funding commitments from the local authority and the private sector, and is to explore one more option this Tuesday morning.
Speaking to the Limerick Leader, Mayor Sheahan said he is making âstrenuous efforts with various parties to get this over the lineâ by Tuesday evening.
It will come as a major boost to Limerick GAA fans, with many thousands set to miss out on tickets for the showpiece in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
For those who do have tickets Iarnrod Eireann have added an extra direct train for supporters going to the Munster Senior Hurling Final in Cork this weekend.
The rail company has the direct train leaving Limerick at 11am going to Cork. The return train leaves Cork at 7.10pm and is due back in Limerick at 8.40pm.
There are also trains going from Limerick Junction and Charleville. Details of these can be found on their website www.irishrail.ie.
Limerick travel to Cork looking to retain the Munster title for the first time since 1981.
The match will be live on RTE television and Live 95FM.
For anyone driving to Cork the annual horse fair is on in Buttevant this weekend so there may be some delays through the place.
I think if Cork come out and play with the same intensity, aggression, work rate as they did against Clare in the semi final and against Kilkenny last year they will win as they have better forwards. If they donât then they will likely lose.
Risk for Cork is that Kilkenny bring out that effort because it is Kilkenny. Clare did because of last year. However in the Cork psyche it is âonlyâ Limerick so will they be able to be properly up for it. Limerick have only had one game this year so hard to read how they will turn up. A lot of teams have been patchy form wise so far. I didnât see that Clare performance last week coming.
Home advantage also a plus for Cork if they get ahead they should power on and win it.
With all these games the referee plays a huge role - if he gives Cork frees rather than advantages then Cork and Horgan will put up a big score.
Cork against Clare seemed to have taken a bit of an interest in how they set up on puck outs and benefitted from that.
Harnedy is due a big game for Cork this Sunday as he has not reached the heights of last year.
Cork to win 1-24 to 2-17.
Otherwise, I assume it will be Conor OâSullivan inside picking up Mulcahy with McDonnell and OâNeill picking up the big lads. \
There are two direct replacements for Walsh, Rob OâShea and Brian Lawton, neither of whom will start. Both are inexperienced and a good bit off this level. Other direct switch is Egan, who has played midfield a bit for his club. In all likelihood I would expect Cooper to move midfield and Paudi Sul to start in the half-forward line.
Cadogan centre back :o
Pile on Limerick.
We will turn up and keep it pucked out to the Cork lads anyway. We can do no more than honour the fixture

what is wrong with Walsh, Turenne? You keep saying he is injured. what is the nature of this injury?

I donât buy into this theory that Ellis is such a massive loss. A loss no doubt but surely a decent half back line player sent out with the instructions Ellis had the last few games could perform the same role??
Ellis has gone from not being in the first Cork 24 to being irreplaceable very quickly!

Egan would be a smarter choice there than Cadogan.

Eoin Cadogan has more hurling in his big toe than Ellis. Iâm sure the sight of Lorcan McL being hopelessly outpowered by Conlon under the dropping ball in the 1st half of the Clare game will have helped his cause also. A big if, but if Cork are do anything wrt winning an All Ireland having an inform Cadogan in the halfback line would be a big boost.

I was looking for a Cork point of view. I assume you will toe the Limerick party line that we will batter the cunts?
Donât think anyone will batter anyone else.
I actually have an awful sneaking feeling of a draw.

Replay! Gaelic Grounds! A battering! Hup!
