A repeat of the 2013 decider.
Cork on the back of three games and demolishing Clare. Home advantage too.
Cork will be raging hot favourites and deservedly so. No real pressure on Teege and the Limerick squad.

Cork will walk this.
Cadogan will go to town on Limerick.
Limerick by 4.
Those Cork forwards will rip Limerick a new one…
JBM vs Teege, two tactical masterminds in opposition.

where is the game on? if PUC capacity is at 34K surely it should be moved to thurles or dare I say it Killarney. No game in Killarney this year
It was in the Leader last week that the capacity of Pairc Ui Chaoimh may be reduced to 34k for the Munster final due to health and safety requirements.
No chance whatsoever Cork will give up home advantage, no matter how much of a reduced capacity.
Limerick last year so presumably no matter how shite their shed of a stadium is they’ll have it played there.
Christ I hope the two lads don’t get injured playing bogball. Need both very badly.
Frank will let us know where it will be on in time.
sure don’t we keep hearing how much cork players supporters love thurles. Cork’s 2nd home and all that mullarkey. The munster council coffers, accommodating the supporters that want to attend and the safety of them when they get there has to be considered
Yep, sensible thing would be to bring it to Thurles but Cork are due home advantage so we can’t have any complaints.
I’m still sour over that Tomas Mulcahy goal in 1992.
Cork haven’t played a Munster Final in Cork since 2005, they won’t be conceding home advantage.
Clare & Waterford have never had home advantage in a Munster Final. Cork are in a similar position to Clare & Waterford now in that they don’t have a stadium fit for purpose. Until such time as they do, they shouldn’t be allowed host a Munster Final.
I watched the match today in a pub in Buttevant of all places. At one stage Canning mentioned the winners would go on to meet limerick .To which one local responded “Who?”
Text that to Shane Dowling please.
Who will ref it? Surely won’t be James McGrath after getting the nod last year.
Hope it’s Brian Gavin to be honest. I don’t want Johnny Ryan.
Waterford played a Munster Final in Fraher Field in 1929.
It was already set in stone in Limerick and Cork met, the final would be in Cork.

Set in stone by whom, Frank Murphy and the Cork County Board?
Fraher Field presumably had the capacity to hold a Munster Hurling Final in 1929 it doesn’t in 2014 and neither does Pairc Ui Chaoimh. 34,000 is not a capacity to cater for a Munster Hurling Final. Just checked it there and the official attendance listed for last years Munster Hurling Final was 42,730.
