Cork v Waterford - All Ireland Hurling Semi-Final 2'17

Leave him off mate, he’s clueless about hurling.
Cork will walk this.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again - Fitzgibbon is the most important player on that Cork team. Meade also has considerable ability.

If we reach an All-Ireland final with defence and bench it will be a miracle.

They were’nt KK of old but they were’nt as bad as this year either mate - At least the likes of Hogan, Aylward, Fennelly etc were performing last year. And they still beat Galway pulling up in the Leinster final…

Fitzgibbon is an absolute topper and his form this year suggests they’d struggle a little without him, Meade is a fine player but not a gamechanger by any means
I don’t think that defence will have any problem reaching an All Ireland Final but winning it might be a stretch.

Without him? Huh?

Meade is the best distributor on the team.

Conditional tense mate, implies that he is of massive importance to the team, and remains a little underrated.

Christ, an English teacher love in.

Corkies love the English, so they do.

Don’t forget your ā€˜if’ in future mate, cheers.

Can’t understand neutrals shouting for Waterford for this one, I’d love to see them lift one at some stage but playing like they do these days would ruin the final, whereas Galway Cork has the potential to be a final for the ages. I think they’ll be found out again this weekend, even if TDB gets off. Had them tipped for an AI at the start of the season but I’ll be shocked if they even get to the final having watched them throughout this championship. Wexford put in their worst performance of the year by a long chalk and Waterford still couldn’t put them away. KK before that too should have been easily dispatched. Waterford management trying to be too clever at times and the team is just not good enough, disappointingly.

They’d covers that I’d say

No neutral in their right mind would shout for Cork, ever.

I assume all neatrals are shouting for waterford on Sunday and hoping galway hockey the fuck out of them then in the final.

This one will be close, but I don’t see how either team beat Galway.

I can’t see Cork’s backs being able to handle Galway. Maybe there is a bit of vulnerability in the Galway defence, and Cork do have a lot of pace but Galway would really need to shit their pants.

And Waterford, they won’t beat Galway with 4 forwards… They’d make All-Stars of the entire Galway full-back line if they carry on as they did against Wexford. And Galway are well able to bang over points from out the field, they haven’t been too worried about goals so far.

It’s only Galway ffs. We created this monster when Derek instructed Maurice to hit those frees wide in the league quarter final and we will finish ithis monster in September.

Its hardly that difficult to understand. Cork don’t attract a lot of neutral support. In fact you’re possibly the first neutral I’ve ever heard of cheering for Cork.

He’s not a neutral - He’s a norrie, it’s there in his name…

And thats why they should go toe-to-toe with Cork.

If they did i think Warerford would win.

But they won’t

I think Waterford are primed to turn it on in Croke Park, will get an early lead of six to eight points, and will hang on to win by 3 points.
