Cork has the correct proportion of sports stars for the 2nd largest city in the country and indeed the largest geographical county in the country. Itâs almost as if this hasnât dawned on them 
If anything, Cork is a serial underachiever on all sporting fronts and always has been, relative to itâs size. It packs a distinctly average punch.

Very unusual for a county to produce two lads to play for man united at the same time who were an extremely dominant side at one the time.
