You should get on to the McWilliams twitter feedā¦
A few of the GAA managers at my club should have been in the special Olympics. They were great men to drink pints though.
This whole Liam Miller thing is really beginning to grate now.
No offence to the lad or his family, a terrible thing for a young man to be taken so young but every cunt is putting the boot into the GAA now, the mob mentality has taken over. Initially I wanted it to be opened for this event but now Iād almost hope Frank and the GAA stand firm.
Totally agree. Plus, if he played for clubs that Iām reading about then they canāt be that badly off to be fair. I would wish no harm on any of them but its time to call off the baying Dubalin-centric meejia outcry.
Iāve no problem with the GAA stance - however it shouldnāt be funded by state money if thatās the case. ā¬30 million is a lot of cash. Imagine a golf club which was āmen onlyā getting state grants, people would rightly be up in arms. Similar arguments are also made about state funding of religious ethos schools/hospitals.
Put your paw out for taxpayers money and your ability to be exclusionary should fall away pretty quickly imho.
Everybody is putting the boot in (except the edgy TFK crowd and a backwards minority) because itās a dinosaur club with stupid anachronistic rules
im nodding along with you in agreeement here to be honest and im hardly the gahās greatest fan,
are the GAA thick or what tho- could they not just have said yeah grand and just gotten on with it- they really must be thick fuckers
the whole thing now tho has become one massive snowflake event
yep
How can you not have a problem with a stance which is built on bigotry?
Eh, wtf? The GAA had no issue leaving a kiddie fiddler do his sick twisted show there once upon a time.
Leave archbishop mcquaid out of this.
Thereās no such thing as bad publicity.
Unless youāre paddy jackson.
Says the man that was championing the Orange Order last weekā¦
How so?
are the GAA thick or what tho
Is that a serious question?
Itās the GAA weāre talking about here, the answer should be obvious.
Agreed. The GAA are playing a blinder here.
Agreed. The GAA are playing a blinder here.
Blindness is certianly a characteristic associated with them, alright.
The Exchequer will get multiples of that back in tax over the lifetime of the redeveloped stadium.
Will swimming pools only be funded if they agree to freeze the water one night a week for the local ice hockey team?
