Synopsis below

Counties Kerry, Donegal and Sligo remained free of the virus from May 17th to June 14th according to the most recently available data.

Another two counties, Clare and Westmeath, have recorded no new cases of the disease so far this month.

Meanwhile, more than 100 new outbreaks of Covid-19 were reported last week, most of them in families and dating back several months.

Some 103 outbreaks were reported on the computerised infectious disease reporting system (CIDR) used by the Health Service Executive; 92 of these were family outbreaks.

Of these, 39 family outbreaks occurred in March, 36 in April and eight in May, according to the latest epidemiological report from the HSE’s Health Protection Surveillance Centre.

What’s done is done and cannot be undone, for to go back would be as tedious as to go forward.

Its the insincerity of it all. Tubridy surely doesnt believe all that bullshit that he’s throwing out.

He barely had a cough id say as a positive covid-19 case and goes down as a survivor.

What a cunt.

‘Twas that Thomas Byrne was the catalyst for it calling for it to be cancelled. Even SF said he was irresponsible at the time but once it was out there it snowballed and the following Friday it was gone.

My youngest who was due to sit the LC along with thousands of others missing out on milestones such as finishing up school, graduation mass, night out after the LC, debs etc. Rites of passage we all had and now there all stuck at home doing fuck all although they have been able to meet pals over the last few weeks. As for the guidelines for the pubs I’ve never seen such BS, completely unenforceable and will not be adhered to especially in rural areas. Can’t see the guards implementing it either.

Guidelines lads guidelines, not laws.

All they had to say was that anyone who felt uncomfortable about sitting the exams could opt out and sit it in 2021 instead. Let everyone else proceed. Cancelling it has caused even greater problems and has had big ramifications.

Any issues could have been easily overcome. Students arrive on, straight into the exam hall, no loitering around after and straight home after. The will power wasn’t there though.

From the general tone of your posts you strike me as a real ideas guy.

Not like it’s easy making these claims when a decision was made, 5 odd weeks ago.

As I said at the time, it was premature to call it off two and a half months out.

8 more cases today from a country of 4.5 million - you should be able to come out from under the bed by 2025, please God.

We’ve lost a year lads one way or another. We have a couple of choices here. We can dust ourselves down and go again or keep watching
a tape of the 73 final.

Or we can watch the 73 final in the pub

Lads wanna bitch and moan, Shur look it, let them off.

Mate, I’ve been at it all along bar the first week.
The reason the disease was diminished was serious social distancing & hygiene care.
People had ( have ) it but showed no effects, they spread it everywhere it then spreads…

If they open it to fuck full style and this gets a grip, another lockdown will finish businesses. They have to pace this.

For all who say countries have opened with no new cases but there are also reports on spikes again such as Club scene in South Korea.

Nobody knows to fuck we can all agree, but this thing spreads and it’s too late if it finds weak homes.

I copped that you’re misquoting two difflerent lines from two different characters, and thencombining them…but I didn’t want to say…

You just did
