In rural Ireland the lockdown wasn’t hard, plenty of room to exercise outdoors, free money off the government to eat a cooked breakfast, two dinners a day and drink your head off every night watching tv, those people are actually the real traitors to Ireland

Unbelievable levels of nonsense sprouted on this thread. The Spanish flu was due to a novel virus at the time, one of the reasons it was so deadly. It didn’t die out, it mutated like all viruses. Literally every influence type A outbreak since then is descended from the Spanish flu virus.
