Coronavirus - Here come the variants

Pat kenny interviewing some woman there with a lovely mid atlantic accent claiming to be the head or secretary of the national parents council or something

Anyway - for the last year she had her 6 year inside playing Minecraft on Zoom with his friends ( a 6 yes SIX year old child she has sat in front of Zoom , ) and the 4 year old is totally frighted of germs and has anxiety…" she like wont even go to ekkie pat…" which im assuming is some social media parent speak for ECCE…
'there will be no playdates in my house"…

Pat then qualified this citing the “lack of awareness children have and they all outside playing…”
Our woman blamed the government, praised Simon Harris on Instagram (she referred to Instagram a lot) actually…

Now, im not sure if people think sitting a 6 year old in front of zoom to develope an addiction to screens is healthy nor is facilitating a 4 year old to develope anxiety that the parent is teaching them,
Ill take my chances herding these fellas out the door when the sun is out to be honest

I see it with my Nephew, completely addicted to them. Doesn’t leave the house at all. Looks so unhealthy. Father has as much interest in them as the son, drives me insane looking at him when I call over.

A grown man addicted to minecraft?

Fuck sake.

Exactly. At his age he should be obsessed with comic book movies instead.

Can I play FIFA with me youngsters? I generally pick Ireland and let them injure Doherty out of the game early on.

I don’t Know… Sends out bad signals. I suppose if you’re strict with their use of consoles it ain’t bad. I reckon I haven’t held a joy-stick in about 15 years.

Ah here. That was uncalled for now

I wont tolerate minecraft though, its a thorough fucking disgrace and abomination.

Extremely.

The last mention of the Coombe inquiry was 3 weeks ago. I hope this Beacon thing sees that cunt being drawn across the coals too.

I honestly , truly, can’t get my head around adults playing computer games … especially lads that take it seriously. But shur, it takes all kinds.

An addiction is defined as the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance or activity.

We’re all on TFK every day, we are addicted to TFK. It’s not a stretch that a grown man is addicted to Minecraft.

Would you be good at minecraft?

Kids do sort of grow out of video games. My lads play them but will throw on an episode of Futurama or Parks and Recreation now as often if left to own devices.

They don’t play the games alone anymore - it’s all with their pals over headsets - it’s how they socialise

No, never played it. You?
