The ānarrativeā is, that by going for Covid testing while showing no symptoms you are helping to ensure that it isnāt gaining a foothold in the community. This is what I believe to be the case anyway. In an ideal world weād all have a small testing kit at home.
Neither do I, I havenāt heard of anyone I know being tested in a couple of months nowā¦

I went for a walk-in Covid test over the weekend because I thought I might have it and I didnāt want to infect my workmates. Also I thought I might get a few days off work.
Thereās a thread on boards.ie polling people why they went for their Covid test. 60% of respondents were asymptomatic. People were posting about going for their 4th asymptomatic test, like they were heroes.
