Coronavirus - Here for life (In high population density areas)

Great to get that validation from a weather forecast and throat/nasal swab expert. You’re right about the mood music changing and many of us exercised prudence in December alright. I guess that’s why we have no guilt about sending our children to crèche this week, unlike the cohort that spent the month recklessly mixing and indirectly killing people.

Construction shut down was being mooted since the weekend within the government. They didn’t just hit upon it during today’s sub committee discussions.

Best thing to happen to the country is the cold snap to be like the beast from the east and keep people indoors keeping the country calm

Income Tax down 1% I saw

That’s my point, they shouldn’t have let it open up yesterday then, similar to the schools.

What does “take risks” mean?

Is every sort of ‘risk’ the same?

The real problems are all ahead of us.

Its not even a joke, mate.

This bullshit of their being no consequence to these lockdowns due to “cheap money” is probably the worst bullshit you’ll ever hear.

Increasing national debts will have to be paid back. One way or the other.

€5.5bn of this year’s deficit borrowed today at negative rates

Agreed. The only consolation is that practically every other country in the developed world will be in the same boat. That’s not to say there wont be consequences but the stick might not have as many thorns on it.
