Just because you can borrow infinitely mate, doesnt mean you don’t have to balance the books,

I’m not being smart, but isn’t that exactly what it means? As farmer said above, you don’t have to pay back the debt, just the interest on it. That can still be quite an amount, but the end point is that you don’t have to balance the books.

You’ll have to rollover the debt at some point to though and also presumably borrow more. Fine as long as interest rates are near zero through ECB support but that could change quite quickly, particularly if inflation gets going.

I think it’s correct to borrow extensively for essentially temporary Covid costs at the moment. If we build in more ongoing costs (ie increased annual health spend) we’ll need to figure out how to pay for it ourselves.

I think most are hearing of people who have tested more than once with differing results.
Hospitals refusing results from other sources and using their tests to proceed with scheduled appointments.

I think a lot of the criticisms of the PCR tests are overdone and in many cases is full-on tinfoil hat stuff.

Change in routing requests since January 13, 2020

Bit of a rise around Christmas but has dropped sharpish since. The cold weather having an effect too I guess.

For the Google Mobility reports, residental and parks are the only ones with an increase.

The increase in visits to parks is likely to be attributable to novice Fitbit owners like me tipping around 6’06 pace.
