A colleague of mine lives right on the border (wouldn’t be far from Slab Murphy territory). Would be from a staunch republican background (as would most in his area). He summed it up a week or so ago:
“They ain’t taking it serious. Many aren’t wearing masks. Partying and gatherings still going on as normal in many places.There’s an innate mentality in the North, in many, not all, that they don’t like being told what to do.”
My Mrs saw it firsthand where she works. When the North closed down, they came over the border shopping. Gangs of women traveling and shopping together.

She’s stressed off her head today even though she’s upstairs on work calls for the day and I’m doing everything with the boys, cooking and anything else that needs to be looked after.
