Coronavirus - the deadly virus that no one dies from

That Fine Gael thing where they carry on like political observers rather than decision makers. Weirdos.

Roughly translated as ‘everyone in Europe is laughing at us hiding under the bed. We need to crawl out now, pretending not to be sheepish while trying to retain a shred of dignity’.

Sean Kelly faced down Frank Murphy. Champ should be no obstacle

Fianna Fáil tried this trick too from 2016- the pretence of opposition and it didn’t work except for eejits in broadcasting like Shane Coleman who said they did it in the national interest.

FG are actually in government. Martin will lose more and more authority and within his own party more respect if he doesn’t bring Leo to heel.

There is still a massive outstrip if demand over supply when it comes to housing/property. Simple economics dictate there won’t be a price decrease in this area anytime soon. My hope is however the savings accumulated aren’t spent on property by individuals but I wouldn’t trust Paddy on this, he loves owning land and houses he doesn’t need.

Not for office and retail. All very uncertain.

Some people will have long term effects, just as with any illness. There are far far worse viruses and bacteria out there that cause infectious disease, especially those that effect children, compared to Covid. Every single person has a somewhat different body chemistry and immune system, which is why you get great variation in how a disease progresses. A simple cold can turn into pneumonia and cause death, not to speak of horrible cunts of things like meningitis.

What we have hopefully learned is that you can minimize your chances of getting infected with Covid (or any respiratory illness), by being aware and careful, avoid crowds especially indoors, practice good hygiene, etc. There is absolutely no way we can see the kind of community spread we had back in March with people following those guidelines.

This doesn’t seem particularly complicated. It’s a coalition. Leo doesn’t get to make decisions unilaterally anymore - he has to deal with a variety of other simpletons

FG are applying pressure to open things up quicker while FF are still shitting the bed etc. They’ve probably been making this case for weeks behind closed doors so now it’s time to ramp up the pressure. You’ll see similar from the Greens when they want their organic wolf farms or whatever.

The first sentence there sums up the last few months perfectly. Zero, literally zero evidence for any of it.

If he really doesn’t like them he could vote against them

Working from home feasibility can be seen to offer solutions in that. The general population with savings however will ensure domestic housing market stays strong

When he was in charge he couldn’t make a decision to save his life though so it all rings a bit hollow to be honest

This is what you’re dealing with

Bit late to be leaving crowds into matches now. Most clubs are out.

i think its more important for pro sports that crowds get back

A fatality rate of 6.2% for those who contract covid is clearly rubbish too.

I’m not sure the facts back that up. Locked the country down and was opening the country back up in clearly defined phases.
