Tipperary is a beautiful county, incredibly picturesque. The people are salt of the earth.

This lockdown shit would drive a man mad in fairness.

Youā€™re a bad manā€¦

The women are sluts mind you

Donā€™t mind that cuntā€¦ heā€™s been hiding under the bed for nearly 6 months now.

Goes without saying.

Divided into north and south, think they invented their most popular sport but in truth only win titles with official help, arsehole supporters with an annoying repetitive chant/dance, backward, colder and more miserable than you could imagine. But only one has beaches mountains and scenery.

Not even a virus will go there. Says it all.

The lads who donā€™t shower or wash their hands are seething

I donā€™t understand the absolute hatred for zero covid here. If we went for it with 4 to 6 weeks total lockdown 14 day isolation in hotels on entering country and could have a few months of crowds at matches and drinking in pubs like Perth and nz have had before it all creeps back up again, its surely a better scenario than years of in out shake it all about never really having any normality? I can obviously see all the problems with it but can see more with the current situation of watery life and no light at the end of the tunnel at all.

A couple of short sharp hits versus long drawn out ones. The upside is huge if you get 6 odd months living restriction free.

NZ just locked down Auckland for a while. Sorted it and are back restriction free

Itā€™s hated because itā€™s completely impossible for Ireland and then all it does is cloud judgment and lead the government to have 3 or 4 years of restrictions with no real viable strategy or end purpose.

It is absolutely impossible and itā€™s stupid to pretend otherwise. The country is not capable of it, the economy is not set up for it. Itā€™s utterly pie in the sky.

And a couple of dickhead niche academics, Ryan and mcconkey, keep driving it as a potential solution. Mainly because it is a fascinating academic exercise.

They honestly need to be called out and told t fuck off with their shit, theyā€™re helping no one.

4 to 6 weeks? To get to zero covid they are talking about 6 months mate. And then you come out and it starts again and then what?
