How many times do people need to be told the vaccine doesnāt stop transmission? It lowers it somewhat is the best weāve been told. Places with 90% of populations vaxxed and the virus still runs through, cases galore. Is it a case of these donkeys just pretending they donāt see these facts?

No you have this all wrong. The pubs will be all shut down from about 10 December until about 15 February (or maybe something like the ā¬9 substantial meal). MHQ wonāt come back, except maybe for Irish people going abroad.

Archbishop Tony was doing the rounds on the radio stations today. He was talking to Dermot and Dave. The problem is that the vaccines donāt limit transmission. The R number is 1.5, it was 6 but it needs to be below 1. We could have 400,000 cases in December if this keeps up. He actually sounded normal enough, I didnt realise it was him at first.
He was saying to reduce your social contacts. If you were going to go to the pub twice this week only go once instead, that kind of thing.
I support a personal responsibility approach so for the first time ever Iām considering following the Archbishopās advice and only hitting the pub once. Whatās pissed me off is the curfew, which is the opposite of personal responsibility. So Iām conflicted.
I actually donāt mind the midnight closing hours too badly. It probably means Iāll just be tripping balls to 5am instead of 7am.

Someone on here said their should be a level 5 lockdown from here until January. I havent met one person who wants a lockdown and i have met loads of people at matches recently. If i didānt watch the news i would never hear about covid.
