Countdown to Wrestlemania XXV

Was thinking the same thing myself Bandage when i was watching… Let’s just say you wouldn’t kick her out of the bed for farting…

Just been watching a bit of No Way Out - the fooking body on Shawn Michaels’ missus.
Shan, Im totally shocked by that last post.
Piper delivered an masterclass on how to deliver a promo. I’d have given the man a standing ovation if I was there. Jericho is going to get to work with some of the best over the next few weeks I’d imagine.

Orton is a waste of space, useless altogether. Walks slow, wrestles slow, talks slow, and his gimmick is one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time.

I’d say what you said about the match ups is spot on there Shan, everything they’ve done is pointing in those directions. It looks like they are actually going to give the fans the PPV they want. I hope JBL isn’t involved in the Michaels and Undertaker match though, it would ruin it.
You’re dead right there Flano and I especially agree about Orton. I remember when we first booked 'Mania 10 or 11 months ago and Michaels-'Taker was being mooted at the time and it was a mouthwatering prospect. It’s still a potential match for the ages and the last thing it needs is JBL being involved. Why is he rated so highly within the company lads? He’s always high up the PPV card and is a regular title challenger or holder despite being terribly boring and one dimensional.

Wrestlemania card prediction.
~WWE Championship: HHH v Orton
~World Heavyweight Championship: Edge v Cena
~Undertaker v HBK with JBL special guest referee (expect HBK to turn heel thanks to help from JBL)
~Matt Hardy v Jeff Hardy in a cage match (this would be deadly in fairness)
~Chris Jericho v Stone Cold Steve Austin
~Money in the bank ladder match: Participants - Shelton Benjamin, Mr. Kennedy, Ted DiBiase, Vladimir Kozlov, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk.
~ECW match: Swagger v Christian.
~Battle Royal for Intercontinental title involving the likes of Kane, MVP, Brian Kendrick, The Great Khali, The Big Show, The Miz, John Morrison, Cody Rhodes, Cryme Thyme, Finlay etc.
~Diva’s match: Who knows what type or who’ll be involved. I’d expect something that would involve as many of them as possible, possibly another Battle Royal.

The main one i’m unsure of is the ECW match where it is very possible that Swagger will face Tommy Dreamer. If this is the case then Chritian will go into the money in the bank ladder match, which in fairness would be a better idea for Christian.
Fuckin thing!

You left out the ‘forward slash’ before the second ‘spoiler’ Dunph!

The second one should be
.
You’re thinking very much along the lines of Dunph there art!

I reckon John Morrisson’s a cert for Money In The Bank - he was class in it last year and I think it was his first one. It would be good if Christian was in it too.

Seeing as there’s no Diva/Playboy link up this year in the build up to 'Mania, is it a certainty that they’ll have a bird fight on the card?
I must say i like JBL. He’s probably the biggest heel at WWE (well besides Edge and Jericho). He’s excellent at playing the role of a low-life, very convincing. He’s also excellent on the mic and the clothesline from hell (when properly executed) is deadly.

Yeah he was excellent last year in fairness. I’d substitute him for Kozlov and then i think it’s right. And the more i think of it Christian is tailor-made for this kind of match.

Something that occurred to me while watching the WM IX flashback on RAW.

Hogan must surely be doing something at it. And I’ve now been reading a few things that wouldn’t be a half bad idea. Hogan v Jericho at WMXXV.

I would only want to see that if Jericho won. No point in him losing to Hogan.

Steph takes a decent bump

Taken from Rajah.com:

According to a well-placed source in WWE, the following matches are being talked about for WrestleMania 25:

 • Hulk Hogan vs. John Cena

 • Triple H vs. Randy Orton (WWE Championship Match)

 • Edge vs. Big Show (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match)

 • Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker

 • Chris Jericho vs. Mickey Rourke

 • Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy

Regarding Hogan vs. Cena at WrestleMania, I was informed about the possibility of such a match on Monday night from a source within WWE, which is how all the Internet rumors on Hogan started. It has not yet been confirmed, but there has definitely been some back-and-forth between Hogan and the company about the wrestling legend doing the match.

If Hogan doesn’t go through with the match, Cena will simply face Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. But if Hogan ends up going through with the match, Edge will square off against Big Show as they already have a program in place.

As far as a Chris Jericho vs. Mickey Rourke match is concerned, WWE definitely wants to go through with it, but it remains to be seen whether Rourke himself comes through. Right now, Rourke is publicly saying he’s not doing the match, but company officials expect him to change his mind following the Academy Awards. If Rourke goes through with the match, a boxing match is expected to take place with Ric Flair in his corner. However, WWE has a back-up plan in place should Rourke not go through with the match.

During the build towards WrestleMania, Chris Jericho will continue to run down wrestling legends. WWE is looking to do some sort of scenario where Jericho faces several legends at WrestleMania.

Hogan Cena match wise could be the worst mania match ever but the crowd reaction to both would be electric. Ive read the spoilers for Smackdown for the next 2 weeks and lets just say some of the results were shocking.

Edge v Big Show? That’s a desperate idea for the biggest PPV in the history of the industry,

And Hogan v Cena would be useless, Hogan in his pomp was useless and he is just old and beat up at this stage and Cena is useless, a match between them would be horrendous, pale imitation of The Rock v Hogan. If Hogan is going to wrestle anyone it should be Jericho, at least Jericho can work a match.

To be honest I can take or leave Rourke and especially if its going to be a “boxing” match.
According to reports by Fox Twin Cities, The Minnesota Post and KSAX TV , wrestling legend Verne Gagne has been named a suspect in the death of 97-year old Helmut R. Gutman. The two were roommates at the Friendship Village home, as both suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease-related dementia.

Gutman and Gagne had an altercation on January 26th, which led to Gutman suffering a broken leg and head injury, which required hospitalization. Gutman passed away four days after the injuries were sustained. The Bloomington, Minnesota police have launched an investigation into the death, but have not commented if Gagne will be charged or not.

Gagne has reportedly been in several physical altercations while at the home, including a previous incident with Gutman, where Gagne choked him. Gagne had been asked to leave the home, and he no longer resides there
