If you want to make money in this pandemic, start a courier company and get a few steady commercial clients.
I’d take a good bet that most of the lads moaning here are the same lads that choose to buy from a company that offers free delivery rather than pay for it. And then expect a VIP service that they haven’t paid for.
And are ordering stuff they could pick up for the same price locally if they got off their holes
At €2.50 a drop what would you expect.
Or a another pizza outlet, guy in Cork brought both oven and baker direct from Italy lately, don’t ask me how got in etc etc,bro was delivering cooking oil to him during the week and your man’s raring to go,and this is city centre stuff high rates etc,
Only ppl making bobs are grocery shops and fast food chaps
I started this thread to slag off couriers and now I’m looking for one thanks to @gaillimhmick.

I need to get a ton bag from Hollywood Co. Wicklow to Limerick City. Looks like I need a truck with a hoist. To take on and off the bag. Any ideas TFK? Who is best and cheapish. No immediate rush with it.
No. Looks like Fasttrack haven’t used Twitter since 2017 so I’ll be waiting a while. I sent it onto the place that it came from and the owner went nuts and is going to cause all sorts of hell. Stupid cunts.
You might get some traction on the parody twitter account!
Which one is that?
Slowtrack
How much is the ton costing?
They could post it down pebble by pebble.
Are the crowd in Wickla not doing 32 County delivery after all, @habanerocat?
A ton of chip depending on the type can cost you between €50 and €150. It’s the delivery is the problem if you need a particular size like me.
There’s a place out in Ballyneety that have a fine range. So you’d get handy delivery from there I’d say.
If any of ye want a claim just take a walk around there. Trip hazards galore. They have a few nice statues as well. Pricey though. I text this one to the wife. She wasn’t impressed.
Yer man in Ballyneety runs a savage operation. I’ve been in there a few times picking up a few bags of nuts. He’d be there til 5pm trying to close at 3pm of a Saturday.
Mcmahons would do the job sure? It’s a pity you didn’t ask a few months ago. I’d to bury a load of decorative stone out the back because I couldn’t give it away. I’ve still a six foot x six patch of it if it’s any use to you I’ll have to shift it at some stage for the next phase. Not sure how much a ton is but there’s probably ten wheelbarrows at least
The shop itself is like something out of D’unbelievables.
Have McMahons stone as well?
It’s more grit than stone I want, but thanks all the same.
If you go to mcmahons on the dock road they’ve display in there of the stone you can get off them
