Nope. The passenger walkway, IIRC, is to the side of the car and truck ramp

If I get a 20 foot container delivered to Dublin Port, what sort of cost am I looking to get it transported to the Mid West?
I’m in communication with a “Harrison” from China regarding delivery of something like the below. All in, he is talking about 2,100 euro shipped to Ireland, which is about 30% of the price of paying an Irish company to supply for the same sized area

I’m not sure but they seem to keep chippings and stuff in place rather than being pressed into the ground. A tidier finished and more eco friendly than tarmac.
You can get those grids with a weed membrane attached but adding to cost then.
I was trying to get a free 1T bag of stone delivered from Wicklow to Limerick and the lowest quote I got was €700.
Whereas, a few months later yer man in Wicklow told me he shipped a truck load to a company in Nenagh and they shipped the bag down to me for €100+€50.
Point being, one off deliveries can cost a fortune, whereas if you can spread the cost it’s much cheaper.
You got a broker to clear customs etc for you? Theyre probably alligned with someone in the industry that they could recommend.
Ive used Gavin Transport for FCL (40HC) and theyve been spot on. Qould.imagine 20 no issue
You looking to warehouse the goods? Could be worth getting them put on pallets china-side and sqve you unloading costs this side (floor loaded container needs pallwtising, wrapping etc) Reduces container quantity count but if this is somerhign youre trialling, smaller count might be of benefit. Request plastic pallets if possible from the chinese lads
Might want to use a company youve ties with as if you do personal, youll be paying vat you cant claim back.

I see Fastways went into receivership last night. Surely there’s salvageable business in there?
There’s about 1,100 people directly & indirectly employed through them. A terrible company but surely there’s the bones of something there for the right operator to make a go of.
Surely. Most of capital cost sitting with independent contract drivers I assume? Will be some shit show for Xmas with the backlog this will create elsewhere
