Coursing 2012/2013 - The Road to Powerstown

Here we go…

I suppose the purists here will be going to Kilflynn, I think however I will go to Liscannor this year and use the opportunity to drink Murty’s dry.

What ammunition have all the big owners got this year? HangBlaa? MAD? Dunph? Runt?

Looking forward to the coursing starting. Unfortunately Doon will likely be my first meeting of the season, then Powerstown.

The GAA are crazy putting the All Ireland replay up against these opening coursing fixtures, there’ll be only one winner there.

We’ve nothing for this year unfortunately. Our first outing as spectators will depend on the football

I’ll probably go to kilflynn for opening weekend but I’ll miss Glin and Regional due to work. Hopefully I’ll get a clear run to Christmas thereafter.

I’ve also just learned that the blow of the weekend national meeting is slightly offset by the fact that the Superbowl falls on the Sunday night this year.

Hopefully this fact will be enough to convince SS to reconsider his boycott…

Earlier I gathered at least 3 definite attendees for the Sunday session. I predict this year to be off the chain and SS would be a fool to boycott it.

What kind of clients are we talking about?

For the good of coursing I’m going to give it a go and make the best of it MAD. Two nights only instead of the normal three I’d say. I might pop into Kilflynn on the Saturday if there are a few glamour pups on show. I’m just going boozing in Liscannor then on the Sunday I reckon.

Ah great to hear it, what two nights?

Are you on a promise in west clare or what?

I’ll do the Saturday and Sunday night in Clonmel, can’t see myself going down for a Friday callover. I must inform the Paudster that the Superbowl is on the Sunday night next year, it may change the complexion of the eve of the final. Will we have to go to the Minella to watch it? This whole thing weekend thing throws up alot of new dilemmas.

Brilliant… Its only a month away to Glin… Can’t wait

I’m announcing an orange alert security level for all CSC members, following a recent threat to a well-known coursing media personality from the Kerry area who was threatened by a well-known Animal Lunatic Fringe weirdo from Callan. Check under your cars in the morning lads, you know what these kunts are like.

I am getting jiggy about the weekend, even though it’s only Liscannor. I hope it goes ahead with this rain. I assume everyone else is going to Kilflynn?

I’ll be holding fire till Glin the following weekend.

I’m at a wedding in Carlow on Glin weekend. Is the Dunph still organising Doon for us?

I’ll hopefully make it to Kilflynn on Sunday, the cup has a decent line up so should make for good viewing.

The cup in Glin is shaping up to be a mighty one if the rumors are to be believed, Go Home Hare, Hopes And Dreams, Blueview Dan, Hunters Glory, High And Mighty, Belated Birthday and the drug cheat Jeru Cavendish are all supposed to be in the book of entries. Gutted to be missing out on it this year.

Where will you be?
I thought Bunter was home for it?

Bunter is home alright, I’m leaving for a bit of a world tour on the Saturday morning. I’ll be there on the Friday for the first round of the local stakes alright though.

Where is the drooling smiley when you want it…

Dunph has your man cased The Tower yet?
