Shenanigans in the Derby final. Both dogs owned by same owner so final declared a dead heat I think.

@treatystones, @manaboutdog or some doggie lad care to explain this rule to me??

Owner is entitled to do it alright. I don’t really get the reasoning for it myself, but I suppose as the owner and breeder of both dogs he now has two derby champions for stud purposes instead of one!

She!

Who were the finalists?

Distressing scenes on the news there as a hare was caught by the hounds. RTE refused to show the actual scene but instead showed harrowing pictures of the stricken hare being carried away. They then interviewed some inbred yokel from Co Durham who claimed coarsing was not cruel at all but refused to elaborate on his nonsense.

It really is time we followed Britain’s lead and banned this barbaric sport.

How the fuck does anyone get any pleasure seeing a terrified hare running for its life from two hounds?

How many Hares were harmed over the weekend?

Is coursing good or bad for hares?

Hares love it. They enjoy the exercise.

Yes, it’s like going on an all inclusive holiday for a few weeks, with a small bit of work thrown in at the finish.
