Covid19 - Things you thought you'd miss but actually dont

Outside of the GAA, it appears I could pretty much do without weekly organised sport and not miss a beat.

Whodathunkit.

4 yearly sporting tournaments get a pass as they will always hold my attention I suspect.

GAA only from a spectating stance.

I hate people and i’m not really sociable so i’m happy to keep my distance and even happier people have to keep their distance for me. Tho I do miss having a kick about twice a week.

If it spills over into NFL season then this will be a true crisis.

Most of all tho I miss TB12 - But that’s not exclusive to covid. I just miss him. Like, really, really miss him.

I’ve no interest in nfl so I read this as Tuberculosis.
That aside, you’re doing everything you can to keep his memory alive. Fair play.

It’s sad that people are dying but this is a golden age.

I don’t want it to end. I want at least another month of self-isolation.

I miss picking my son up as soon as I get home from work and kissing his face.

Mrs Nwoko has a strict “change and shower” policy in place.

Aside from that, not a lot. I’ll have an itch for a holiday soon enough which will be troublesome.

I miss cycling , swimming, foraging, scrumping & SRFC

Leaving the house, I’m not bothered. ( SO FAR )

I’m a bit of an impulsive person, I miss the freedom to act on my impulses.

People.
