CPA - Club Players Association

Club game missing a golden opportunity here. Fuck all else on and fellas mad to watch something. May never be in this position again

Is it the CPA’s responsibility to promote games? Surely that remit is on the provincial branches mostly and the GAA in the main?

Exactly. Club games are down to the relevant county boards. Nobody is going to be interested in games outside their own county. The CPA is an organisation, not a magazine or something.

The CPA should be concentrating on trying to help to introduce completely split seasons from now on. It’s the only solution

I never mentioned the CPA, though I don’t think it would hurt them to promote it.

In general I can’t see why there is no Sunday Game type show on RTE (especially seeing as they can’t make much else) on right now.

Yeah RTÉ neglect club GAA and sports in general yet they can pay Ray D’arcy obscene amounts of money. There should be club GAA highlights like TG4 have on a Monday night.

TG4 might have the rights?

I don’t think it’s in their remit to promote games to be honest.

I was arguing Bulfins point but replied to you. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. You can contact my secretary with complaints

It’s not no, but they could promote their own players. Giving the club game a higher profile would do their interests no harm.

Tbh I’m surprised more isn’t done by TG4 or RTE. Theu literally have nothing else on
