Cafollas going up in smoke - not sure how bad it is but have just heard rumours of it.
Is the opera house alright?
I think the Opera House doubles as the local chipper
Opera House is ok for now but the Tenors and Sopranos will have a longer trek to the Premier for the intermission snack during the upcoming festival.
Please tell me this isn’t true. Tell me.
A rissole from Cafolla’s simply cannot be beaten.
Am I very cinical to immediately think insurance payout
Where was Cafollas? I thought the only place that did Rissoles was The Premier? Or are they the same place?
Shocking lack of Wexford knowledge, Mac.
Cafolla’s is just across from Rowe Street church near the new brothel.
Any news on whether it was saved? I’ll probably be home this weekend and I’ll want a rissole.

Bandage, I know only 3 chippers in Wexford - The Premier, Fusciardis and Burger Mac (everyone knows the last 1 cos of where it is). Anything outside of The Premier or Fusciardis isn’t worth knowing as far as I’m concerned.
Actually, I know where Cafolla’s is now. I’d have it as just around your average chipper. Nothing special.
The Premier do the best rissoles in Ireland

Disgraceful.
The next time you’re going home, stop off in Enniscorthy and go to Maloccas. Then you’ll understand what a proper chippers is.
Seriously now.
Is Malocca’s that place on the hill where The Antique Tavern is? Serves bags of grease with a handful of chips thrown in?
[quote=“Bandage”]Seriously now. :rolleyes:

That’s the one. Best chipper in Ireland.
Makes a change from most places in Wexford that serve bags of grass.

maybe the best chipper outside of the mid west but not the best in the country…
Mind your mouth.
Tell me more about the brass scene in the sunny south east
Heard that they’d been doing a special offer on battered snake recently. Freshly caught from the River Slaney
Highly unlikely, no ones’ caught anything in the Slaney for years…
I once got a nice single in Limerick.
