I can hardly recognise Joe Kernan. A once big powerful man. Havent seen him in years. Obviously none of us live in Tir na Nóg. Was he sick or anything?

Ah jaysus surely a Galway man living in Kilkenny doesn’t have to enter a competition to get tickets.
Kieran Fitzgerald another Galway legend was her boyfriend at the time. Only 25 or 26 when she passed. So many sad/tragic stories running through both counties. Because of that I find it the most conflicting AI final that I can remember where I cant call who I want to win.

Fair chance that young Caolan Finnegan from Crossmaglen would have been involved for Armagh tomorrow had he not been struck down with a Brain Tumour last Autumn.
He continues the good fight to this day.

She was in DCU around the same time I was there. She was friends with a bunch of girls in our class and would be around a bit when she was well and then you’d not see her for months. Didn’t put much pass on it until I got chatting to her one evening and she mentioned some of the illnesses. It sounded horrific. Seemed like she was liked by everyone. So like Michael in her demeanor.
