Tuam is Gaelic football and EPL country, mate. Hurling isn’t much of a thing there and I would suggest there is considerably more interest in Dublin v Mayo there than there is for the hurling final.
Galway is Galway mate. Snap out of it.
Down is Down, but I don’t recall there being much interest in the 2010 All-Ireland Gaelic football final in Bangor or Banbridge, or in Youghal for that matter.

I do which is why I made the correct point that hurling is very much an afterthought in Tuam and the surrounding areas.
People from that part of North Galway tend to have more in common with people from Ballinrobe or Claremorris and places like that than they would with people from Gort or Loughrea.
They’ll no doubt pay lip service to the hurling final and give token support as Galway are involved but the excitement there is about 7% of what it would be if Galway were in a football final, and the genuine interest in the hurling is undoubtedly below that of Mayo being in a football final.
