Teams are reduced to eight riders now. If you want a proper sprinters team you can really only have one sprinter plus horses on the flat to support him. If you have a rider for GC you won’t bother with a sprinter, for example Sky/Ineos would never bring a sprinter.

Not this year. I would imagine he’s too young to do two major tours in a season but depending on the Froome situation they might send him to the Vuelta in August. He’s a potential GC rider though.

Broken leg, broken elbow, broken ribs. Hit a wall doing 60 at the end of a descent. Took his hands off the bars to blow his nose.

That’s what the team said. He was on a Time trial bike, said a gust of wind took the wheel from under him.

Tom Dumoulin pulled out of the Tour today. Hasn’t recovered from the crash in the Giro. Thomas crashed the other day in Switzerland. They say he’s ok but he’lll be under raced. The race will be wide open now. Bernal the Cooombian lad could win it. Or the shark.

They vary in price from about 50 quid to over a grand? What is the difference between your entry level ones and the other ones.
I presume the ones where you take the back wheel off are better than where you leave it on?

I have a Tacx one where have the option of taking the front wheel off or leaving it on. Need to be a good bike handler to leave the front wheel on. Cost a couple of hundred.
A mate has one where you take the back wheel off then connect up to zwift . Nice toy cost four or five hundred but has broke a few times.
TdG averaged 311 Watts for 5 fucking hours yesterday. Jokeshop imho.

His as good as a sprinter and by far the quickest in the break away. Roach is up there and would want to attack that climb before the finish.

Tacx flux S with the removable back wheel. About 600 quid. He broke two of them but he’s a heavy chap.
