That’s fair going. I did 6000 and climbed 75000 metres but I stopped in mid October.
You were probably due a break tbf
That’s fair going, you must be as fit as a butchers dog.
At my age, probably.
I’ve had two shite years of cycling. At least I upped my running a bit this year
2021 will be my year *
*It won’t.
1,200km cycling, about to go over 800km running. Both shite numbers but we did have a kid, completed a Masters and tearing at work. I’ll double the running in 2021. Would like to think I’d do around 3k cycling, but that would be a stretch. Want to run two marathons, Cork or Limerick and Dublin.
I’m less on both. Will tip over the 800 on running alright
If and when you go back to work, commute via active travel. Your mileage might shoot up
I likes my comfort these days
It was a beautiful morning. Poured it down until five minutes before we set off, then lovely. Got soaked from the road, but not a drop of rain. Had to turn back because of ice in the goyt valley.
Can’t go for coffee after anymore as Wilmslow is back in tier 3
Is a click a Kilometre? That’s a lot, well done
I have gone over 3k running in the past week, was definitely one of the pluses of the early lockdown period, kept me sane at times
3k isn’t that far mate, but you could build up to a parkrun from it
A fixie, Italian made… paging @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy
That is one beautiful bike though. The details on it are exquisite, goes beyond craftsmanship, a work of art.
How do you mean ‘a work of art’?
Serious question, looks like a bike
Take a look at the close up pics, the lugs, the detail on the chain stays, the forward facing dropouts, the overall geometry, the perfect curvature of the bars.
I dunno, I suppose if you’re not familiar with custom bike building then it just looks like a bike. Just like to some all guitars look the same, or all horses look the same.
But that is some quality craftsmanship.
