Cycling 2013

Does this mean we can assume he has been on drugs for two years or what?

Probably Julio-L’Equipe have said that his climbing data is within normal human levels so it kind of helps to back his case a bit but doesn’t answer all the questions about him. Anyway, I prefer to form my opinions based on wild hearsay and anti-British bias rather than “data”.

Looks like Martin is falling back already

On the final climb up to Alpe d’Huez and Froome is looking really strong. A mini attack from Froome has blown the main group apart, Porte is also looking strong and is doing the donkey work. Teejay Vangarderen is up the road 4’20" ahead of them and has 10km to go.

Froome accelerating and going off on his own now, Quintana is the only one trying to go with him. Kreuzinger has cracked and could lose his podium spot here.

Is this the last tough stage?

Dirty cheating Sky cunts, Froome sent back Porte to get gels, which constitutes an illegal refeed. Porte will get the penalty for it even though he handed the gels to Froome which will get the benefit from it *

  • according to the commentators

Quintana has cracked Froome, who seemed to have either a flat or a mechanical problem. Porte gave him an energy bar too, which is illegal. Will be interesting to see what punishment Froome gets for that. Vangarderen is struggling up front and is being caught by Christophe Riblon who is trying to get the French their first stage victory, 2km to go for them.

Some ride by Riblon.

Did I see “Mayo for Sam” painted on the road?*

No smart answers Bandage

Dan Martin well and truly out of the top 10 now, not in the top 55 on the stage, still yet to finish. Hopefully saving himself for a stage win tomorrow.

Nope!

Martin rolls in 25 mins behind the stage winner, he’s 19th on GC now over 34 mins behind Froome :frowning:

Martin and Roche very complimentary of the support on Irish corner. Great effort from the gouys

Froome penalised a paltry 20 seconds the cunt

Treacherous conditions in the Alps today. Rui Costa is 30 seconds ahead of a chasing group of 4 on the final climb of the day, it’s about a 10 kn descent to the finish and they’ll do well to catch him. He’s 9 minutes ahead of the yellow jersey group which has all the main protagonists in it.

Looks like Froome will be attacked on the final climb and descent, ideal conditions to try and get him.

Dan finished 29 minutes back today, now 32nd overall. Very disappointing from him. I thought the tour set up in the mountains would have suited him

Just read his diary in today’s times. I take it back. Seemingly he’s sick. That explains major massive time losses Shame

Froomestrong obliterating the others on the final climb of the day, ridiculous.

Contador has cracked and Quintana could grab second place on GC.

Damn right, anyone who has any doubts after seeing that ridiculous acceleration is a fool. To generate that power so suddenly is not normal, I never saw LA do something like that.

Quintana will get 2nd, looks like Rodriguez will get 3rd too. Also, whoever crosses the line 1st between Quintana and Froome will win the KOM, hope to fuck its Quintana
