The contrast between the Walsh and evil Murdoch empire is kinda funny when he is trying to defend teamsky
Fuck off and die Ullrich.
http://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/sport/ullrich-give-lance-his-titles-back-602354.html
Jan Ullrich believes Lance Armstrong should still be regarded as a seven-time Tour de France champion and that the results should not have been removed from the record books.
The American was stripped of his record seven yellow jerseys following an investigation by the United States Anti-doping Agency and has subsequently admitted to doping throughout the run of success, from 1999 to 2005, when Ullrich was one of his closest rivals.
Armstrongâs revelation was the highest profile of a series of disclosures as the true scale of performance-enhancing drug use during the 1990s and early 2000s has become apparent.
Ullrich does not think Armstrong should be denied his titles, which were expunged from record books rather than redistributed.
The German, who finished second to Armstrong three times, told Bild: âIf it were up to me, Iâd give Armstrong back his victories in the Tour.â
Ullrich pointed to precedent which saw Bjarne Riis restored to the roll of honour for his 1996 win, 12 months after the Daneâs doping confession.
Ullrich, who was runner-up to Riis and won the 1997 Tour, added: âBjarne Riis was given back his victory from 1996. Thatâs how things were at the time.
âItâs not helping anyone to have lines struck through the roll of honour.â
Ullrich finally confessed to being a client of disgraced Spanish doctor Eufemiano Fuentes in June.
He insisted he does not wish to benefit from Armstrongâs fall.
He added: âIâm not claiming any of those (Armstrong) wins.
âI just want the victories that I obtained on the bike. I donât want to win anything by default.â

I think Ullrich is missing the point. He wonât be awarded anything because he was doping like a motherfucker.
Ullrich is basically saying here that it was ok to dope because that was the done thing. The amount of ex-pros who have shown no regret or contrition is amazing at this stage. They sound utterly brainwashed. Which, I suppose, they kinda were.
Shame that alot of good guys are now getting tarred with the same brush
What good guys would they be? It looks like everyone was doping in 98.
Even in '98 there had to clean skins.
Its hard to know, but Wiggo and Froome seem to be cleaner than most.
Hopefully they all canât be at it again. Couldnât watch when LA was running the show.
Like to think Brailsford is straight, although he applied his ethics policy 100%, heâd have to dump his sponsor.

After this years tour I just donât believe in Froome. He has some jungle disease and he used to climb like a sprinter. Now heâs the greatest climber there ever was.
Thought the medical experts at Lâequipe looked through his data, said he was ok and power output not in the range of a junkie.
If he rides on nothing more than a good diet and vitamins then heâs the greatest cyclist of all time.
Which he isnât, because he doesnât.
These are the same âmedical experts at Lâequipeâ that analysed Armstrong in his pomp and said he was kosher.
Might stroll in and watch the final TT stage of the Tour of Poland in Krakow today. Riblon, the guy that won on Alpe DâHuez is leading.
Wiggins won the TT by a minute from Cancellara. Some Dutch guy, Weening won the overall.
Looks great. I sometimes donât agree with Paul but at the end of the day, heâs a hero. Heâs certainly a hero of mine, anyway.

Wiggins now referring to Armstrong as âthe American guyâ.
Wiggins is a drug cheating cunt himself, people in glass houses shouldnât walk around with no clothes.
Euskaltel Euskadi look set to fold at the end of the season which is a minor tragedy for the sport. Euskaltel have been providing an ever increasing share of the sponsorship because other Basque companies are struggling and theyâre not able to continue that commitment for next season.
Not now. A saviour has arisen in the form of F1 Driver Fernando Alonso!!!
