That was tremendous from Des and Karen. 
I’ve tuned out now as I was only watching it while eating my dinner.
Amanda Byram looking well, by the way.
I had forgotten she existed and didn’t remember who she was when I saw she was presenting the programme.
I knew Des back in college when he was starting out with the dramat and the stand up. He was a good lad back then and a great laugh, he was a good man for the pints, joints and yokes but I was surprised to hear his later admissions of a drink and drug addiction. Still those early gigs were very good. He’s still good mates with a mate of mine in Dublin though I haven’t met him in years.
I enjoyed the show where he learned Irish.

She carved more of career for herself over there than most of the Irish ladies that tried their hand at it.

It was embarrassing from start to finish. Berties son in law is so wooden he only get a job in RTE. Des Cahill genuinely disturbed me when dancing.
Des’ best part was the final dance. He was going around like the drunk in a nightclub lepping on anyone that’d humour him.
