Just out from the INDO EGM.
Not good news unfortunately.
They didnt give us a chance to re-elect a committee.When the committee was caught by the balls, they then said “we will wrap it up here lads” and that was that.
We called for an EGM due to a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in the remaining committee.
18 counties emailed in with vote of no confidence. We were told we need 20 for that to come to light.
We now need to go back and please ask our county boards, THINK OF THE PLAYERS!!I stood up and asked 2 questions FOR THE PLAYERS
I was swiftly told “This is not about the players, this is about finances” and basically stood me down before asking any more questions.With the Six Nations coming up next month,
I asked the remaining committee members“Do ye know the date of the Six Nations?”
Answer was “No” and a shake of the headI asked “Do you know what 8 players we have going on those teams?”
Answer was again “No” and another shake of the headWhich means they obviously have no flights booked for those either!
They have not sent on our entry for the Six Nations.
They have refused to talk to a big sponsor that would have secured the WDF World Masters.
They have taken away an International event for our top 13 men and top 7 women!
First ranking of the year on next weekend and I reckon the entries will be the lowest in 10-15 years.
I will not be attending any INDO events until this is sorted, I have ZERO CONFIDENCE in this committee.
Waterford County Darts will now be sending a motion of NO CONFIDENCE IN THIS CURRENT COMMITTEE.
Please for the sake of the Irish Darts players, county boards follow suit.
HOW CAN ANYONE HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THESE PEOPLE? ALL TAKE, NO GIVE.

Well today’s EGM was a total waste of time!!!
When you have 18 member counties voting a vote of no confidence against the current chairman and remaining INDO committee shows that they don’t even care is a total disgrace!!
If I was chairman and 1 county sent in a vote of no confidence against me I would be straight out to ask why!!
But our chairman does not care of 18 votes against him and didn’t ask why!!!??!!!
He is purposely trying to portray that Kevin Devaney was the excessively spender of INDO monies and the ex committee when that is completely untrue and we always done what we thought was correct for Irish darts and players .
The constitution was changed completely to serve best for the current chairman and committee and ran the meeting with a few counties backing this nonsense.
The chairman was even asked to bring the WDF Europe Cup Youth event be brought into the agenda by the actual WDF and was asked last minute of the EGM but was laughed at and I was told I will let you answer that as we (paddy, Kevin and I) where in communication already!! Really??

It’s fucking kids! This was agreed with WDF in 2024 to host this in Ireland! Well before Kevin McDonnell sat as chairman but again is gonna cost our qualified kids an opportunity to represent our country but also cost INDO more than just not running this event but probably cost INDO hosting Killarney etc!I asked where INDO stood with our players that qualifies for the 6 nations event next month??
The chairman and remaining committee couldn’t even answer a question from the floor when the event took place or when or who was representing Ireland.
What a total joke
Sooner all counties look at this fruad the better!
I ask every county to speak up for Irish darts!
Send in your vote of no confidence against the remaining committee and get Irish darts been run by people who have Irish players at heart and not just for profit or money!

I have since learned the remaining committee have all resigned.
One of the examples of the excessive spending I was told about was Devaney spending 820 euro on a thousand pins. If you checkout a 170 in an INDO event you get presented with a pin. He didn’t get approval to spend the money. I’d say it would take close to 20/25 years to go through all them pins
