Fuck it anyway.
Is Rydz in Matchplay?
Still a great return, you take that everyday of the week.
Andrew Gilding’s quest for a first PDC title goes on.
Bate 8-6 in the final after leading 6-3
He’d 3 darts at 41 to make it 7-5 and more importantly break throw but couldn’t capitalise.
The days of his being a three figure price for these events could be a distant memory following these performances. He’s 80/1 to get the win tomorrow.
He’s now ranked 69 in the Order of Merit but he really is a solid player. In the averages table since January 1st he’s 16th.
Anyway, 50/1 the place if you backed Goldfinger.
We go again.
Yeah he’ll qualify.
Players Championship 20
2 places ew 1/2 odds

Andrew Gilding 66/1
Ian White 80/1
Marin Lukeman 100/1
Tough picking today. Rydz taking a break to work on his doubles. He had 15 missed darts at doubles when he was beat yesterday. A few careless darts.
Players Championship 21
Andrew Gilding 66/1
Ian White 80/1
Steve Beaton 300/1

No joy today.
The 32 for the Matchplay are confirmed. Draw at 6:30pm.
The second quarter will be tough to win!
Nice spread of players in that draw.
The Matchplay starts tonight. Its 6/1 the field so wide open.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see a few shocks in the first round as I’d imagine some will struggle with the heat. There was Player Championship on in Barnsley last weekend and I see John O’Shea from Cork said he struggled with the heat. It’s going to be warmer than that in Blackpool when you add in the stage lights.
I’d like to see Gilding get a good run here. He’s in savage form for the last month.
Backed these 3 ew for the usual ew terms.
Damon Heta 25/1
Andrew Gilding 100/1
Dave Chisnall 40/1
Having a decent bet on Gabriel Clemens to beat Jose De Sousa @ 6/5 on Monday night.
De Sousa has been in rotten form lately and is prone to the odd miscount.
Clemens has been playing well and reached the PC18 final losing out the Dirk Van Duijenbode.
Smaller bet on Clemens -2.5 legs @ 12/5
The only worry is that one player has shown an ability in front of cameras and the other has not. As strong as the game is now, you still find it hard to look beyond the tried and trusted in these majors. So many good players cannot replicate what they do on the floor under the spot light of the camera.
No chance Gliding will beat Smith.
A bit like me practising at home and doing it in competitions
Clemens is no stranger to the TV screens so I’d say he should be ok in that regard.
Matchplay is a tough format. Lose 3 or 4 legs on the bounce and you’re gasping for air.
I know, but he has never shown same level of form on TV vs Floor.
First action I’m watching live as I was on the beer since Saturday. Watched the Lewis vs Gilding game earlier. Gilding played well to be fair to him. Lewis was very tidy with his finishing. Gilding will be back though.
I’m not sure where De Sousa is finding this form in the space of a week.
Noppert to be fair to him has kicked on since getting the UK open win. That performance earlier was outstanding.
Dont like Noppert’s slow style but throwing well.
