Relax & let the arm do the work
Good start to the night by avoiding a preliminary round game. That’s as much luck as I had for the rest of the night though.
Played very up and down. Had a few 140s but followed them up with some bad scores.
Went up 1-0. Lost the next 2. Got one back to back it 2-2. Was down 3-2 in a race to 4 and I had left tops. He took out 68 in 2 darts to win it 
A lad down from Mayo won the final. He beat a local lad from West Limerick. He was a year below me in school so I hung around for the final. He’s chancing his arm at Q school after Christmas. He’ll give it a rattle.
We go again.

Ah I’d know my way around a board. Would play a bit down the pub.
Put up a board in the house in Cork and try to throw for 30 mins most evenings.
Play a fair bit of online darts so handy to track progress.
