The rules and punishment for breach thereof are being implemented . This can be appealed . Who knows young Hannify might have a high profile one early in his tenure.

8 weeks seems very light @myboyblue, I think Forde should be looking at a long ban as well for attacking a little middle aged man with a heart condition.

Forde was stupid - but players are wound up on big occasions and Davy entering the field like that is always going to draw a reaction from players - It was mild but Forde is going to pay a big price now.
To be clear he came on shouting at the ref for not awarding a free that should have been awarded in the build up to a goal.
He shouldnāt have ran on but the Tipp player, Forde, came over and squared up to him and thatās when it kicked off. If Forde does nothing and there would have been no case to answer and less media hysteria.
How many months did Pochettino get for attacking Chelsea players on the Stamford Bridge pitch last season? Why didnāt the GGA ban Poch?

He walked onto the pitch - not ran. That in itself should see the ban cut to 2 weeks.

He also hit OāMeara a shoulder when OāMeara walked over and told him to get back. Forde will get the minimum 2 games for his altercation with Fitzy too so Wexford and Davy canāt say they are being picked on.
