I believe Davy has been investing in property in Belfast lately so wonder will he be relocating there during his time in charge.
Wouldn’t have though the Antrim County board would have enough money to cover these expenses
I have to respectfully disagree. Maybe if we’re talking about Dublin then this is true but Davy will give Antrim the kind of publicity that the game up there has been craving for years. Darren Gleeson was a success up there to be fair but you’d imagine Davy can attain a little bit more buy in again and add a bit of structure to it. Exactly what Antrim has traditionally been lacking as their clubs always produce a steady flow of stickmen. There’s no way they lose by 31 points in Nowlan Park under Davy. 3rd place in Leinster is a fairly realistic aim with Davy on board. That being said they’re probably more likely to finish 6th and go down.

Davy Fitz …Antrim Manager package…€120k per year plus expenses for him and backroom team. Car plus use of house in Antrim for training and games. Darren Gleeson spent 5 years up there and apparently Antrim sponsor Creagh Concrete built his house for him. Serious money in Antrim!

He’s not going up there for the good of his health. As mentioned, they’ve probably nicer hurlers than Dublin as well. Very interesting.
Plaza in Portlaoise could see an uptick as well…you want to be fueling about a third of the way up
