Davy Fitz- a thread for the non-believers

Whatā€™s your source?

heā€™s brought Wexford as far as he can, the talent isnā€™t there

A bit early for that assessment. I donā€™t think Davy is the type to give up so easily.

Id Davy went to Dublin after one year at Wexford, no one would take him seriously ever again, especially players, and he knows that. Davy will be at Wexford for 3 years minimum.

Yesterday probably helped Mattieā€™s decision making process Iā€™d say

I thought the Davy rumour was wild, but when I heard Pat Gilroyā€¦:joy:
Someone putting 2 & 2 together and making 2011 be the sound of things

How much?

ā€œOne of the GAAā€™s great tacticians.ā€

Wonder will Derek McGrath repeat Davyā€™s antics before the '08 final when he jumped up and down on a Kilkenny jersey in training prior to the final to try and motivate the troops.

*galway jersey instead of a Kilkenny one.

Considering the rain that has fallen recently it probably wouldnā€™t be wise of Derek to jump up & down on the same spot for a prolonged period of time.

Heā€™ll probably still jump up and down on a KK jersey

SLR has tweeted the following:

http://humansofthegaa.com/davy-fitz-has-reportedly-quit-as-wexford-manager/

Apparently Conal Keaney said that Davy has quit. Donā€™t know how heā€™d know.

Keaney said on Woollys podcast about it being a rumour. In the same way that Daly to Dublin is a rumour. He did not specifically say that Davy was quitting.

Davy needs time out. A couple of years wondering through the Himalayas would do him the world of good.

Not againā€¦

Weā€™ll find out shortly, heā€™ll be on up for the match

Him and Dalo for Dublin

Thereā€™s only one county could afford that ticket.
