Indeed.

Who is TH?

In that piece with PK Hickey refuted both the quotes attributed to him by TH.

Ah.

Tom Hiddlestone. `

There’s a few other yarns in TH’s books about Dublin and Kerry that turned out to be bollox. It’s like he’s living in a world of disbelief where anything and I mean anything goes.

I know you don’t have to be Mozart to comment on music or Ray Meagher to comment on acting and the same applies to sport. But I have more respect for sport journalists who look like they may have actually played the game at some level. I feel they’re better positioned to understand what’s going on as opposed to journalists who are fat messes or who have long red hair.

This most likely explains your admiration for Richie Sadlier.

I thought Barry Egan captured the top sports man of this country, Jon Della, beautifully though m8 in the copy of the Sindo I found under my parents divorce papers.

Of course there’s exceptions though, chaps.

On both sides.

Sport is a game?

Would you apply the same logic to coaches pal?

Leave Big Dave Power alone, pal.

Didn’t even register with me pal. Dave Power ACA is alright in my book.

Great story. Did they ever ask the kid what she saw?

You’d imagine it was a no brainer but whether the kid saw nothing or he didn’t allude to what parts of the story recounted came from the kid, it wasn’t made clear in that. But it is an astonishing (and tragic) read really, like a crime novel, even down to the last little twist at the end of the article. Christ but you’d love to know, but that’s the beauty I guess, we may never know.
