In the 5-1, we were 2-1 down at half-time and O’Neill replaced Meyler & Arter with Hoolahan & McGeady. In hindsight, that was never going to end well.

To be fair to Whelan, he’s alright at closing space. He’ll be the one.

Hopefully he’ll be thinking of his summer transfer as well and minding himself so he doesn’t get stuck with Spurs for another year. Glen should give him a few kicks early on and let him know what’s coming, see if he’s interested or not.
