12 month bans for county players Gareth McKinless and Aaron Devlin as a result of the aftermath of the county final involving Ballinderry and Slaughtneill. Do these type of bans meted out at County level carry over to inter county.

McKinless is an excellent young player and would be a big loss. Wonder would he defect to Tyrone now?

That in a nutshell is why the Derry team are consistent underachievers.

What happened? Why such lengthy bans?

That and them being a shower of mullockers. God bless Eamon Coleman.

What’s the story with the bans anyway, do they apply to inter county?McKinless father was recently announced as Ardboe manager, could he conceivably play with them next year in Tyrone without his ban coming into effect? I’d say there’s a high chance of the Ballinderry players boycotting the county team next year now.

Devlin made a comment on twitter which was construed as a threat against the referee.

McKinless must have manhandled a match official.

Is Devlin in the 'RA?

Yes, 48 week bans would see them banned from all Gaa competitions in that time. I would doubt that they could transfer and play in Tyrone while serving the ban

McIver has hinted that Paddy Bradley could be brought back in next year. He has ruled Eoin out with his football commitments.

Talk about not having a clue.

You dont need to talk about it pal, we see you don’t have a clue every time you post. Cant wait for you to tell us more about these Corofin forwards you presume they dont have because you’ve never heard of them.

Skinner’s back.

Derry 1-16
Donegal 0-08

It wouldn’t be football if Derry weren’t going well early.
