Following on from Bandage’s thread, which largely despised posters do you admire?
I’m torn between Epl Runt and bland Fran, both are alright sorts. Mac has made great strides in recent months since kicking the booze but he still has a long way to go.
Chocolatemouse is the lifeblood of the forum these days. Kicking lumps out of most that come near him. His less frequent outbursts quickly remind us of how despicable a cunt he can be
His diseased fuckin face is the only thing he knows about lumps.

I must say that since he actually started watching te games ( or gave up the drugs), I have admired some of KIB’s views on the hurling and football. Still throws put a few ill-informed generalities, but nonetheless he is someone you could now have a proper debate with.

i wouldnt say runt is a despised poster in any way.
however, after i returned to the board from my sabbatical there is a serious decline in his standard of posting, he seems caught between wanting to play the old cute country hoor routine and been held back by extreme paranoia about internet protocol so is ultra cautious in his contributions that are totally generic and non libellous. Sad to see really, there is no point in being here if you are going to carry on like that
To me the despised posters are the ones that are just boring , gman / mac / padjo/ fran and or pikeman trot out utter rubbish post on post…Chewy Louie is having a disaster as well, all the banter is gone and instead he just posts about a pass that Leon Best made in some reserve game or what suit and brown shoes he is thinking of wearing to next years Galway races…
Fenway really annpyed me the other night as well after Kev had his tools robbed by trying to placate him with a " you are in a very emotive state now"… would you every fuck off…also he is trying to fall into the TAN camp by playing a type of watchdog figure by telling posters what they can and cannot post, this and also his monotonous dirge about not having a bet until the open meeting in Cheltenham in November, actually fuck it i despise the poster Fenway Park.
My most admired posters are SS**, Sid, Kev, TASE , Dunph, Bandage and Thrawneen
Kev is enjoying a bit of a renasissance since he moved abroad and ditched the woman. he was on the verge of insanity there in Q1 2011 with KM’s article about Cork GAA and the phonecalls from Billy or Puke but he did contribute majestically to one of the best ever threads seen on here and also the People Kev Knows thread is a fantastic piece of internet work,
I’m definitely a fan of Sidney’s endless quips and I think Mickee has brought some needle to the forum on his return. I also think Mousey carries himself well. Appendage has been posting well lately.
A very good point. My persona has really fallen between two stools, and the occassional witty one-liners that I produced in the past seem to have dried up. I feel my time here is drawing to an end.

The key to maintaining relevance here is to regularly pick a new sports team who you have no connection whatsoever with and regularly engage in over the top, pseudo-emotional posts which declare your undying love for and loyalty to the aforementioned team.
